Maybe this is one of the pages that I should have written first. I am well known for having plenty of opinions that would be appropriate here, but I just have not got'n 'round to writing to many of them down. But I will soon.
I have, however, collected a few things that I think are cool and have collected them here. I claim no originality for these items, I just like them.
"A company is like any other living thing. First it is conceived, nurtured, grows and is educated. You make of it and from it what you want. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it does not. Eventually it dies. Dying is natural, even for a company. Sometimes a company can even be dead and nobody knows it."
I have a few philosophies that I believe are my own. I am sure many have made the same statements before, but these, I believe to be my own. In any event, they are in my own words.
In 1969, the "counter culture" brought many ideas to mind. Mostly, we began to question authority or just about anything for that matter. This section is by no means meant to signify the essence of the "counter culture" of those years, but is a bit symbolic. Just recently, I stumbled across a WWW page for the Universal Life Church. I started digging around and found my own ordination certificate. Check It Out !!
The life of a musician causes the study of may languages. I learned classical German and then spent some time in Bayreuth Germany. We were quite a hoot, all of us music students that could speak with perfect accents but could not understand anything that anyone else said.
Latin was the same way. Much of the church music I sang was in Latin. Particularly at the National Shrine in Washington D.C., they had special permission to celebrate the mass in latin. Everyone else celebrated mass in english.
In my travels, I remember this Latin saying:
